Copper Powder

InquiryData sheet

Introduction:

Copper powder can be divided into electrolytic copper powder and atomized copper powder.
The electrolytic copper powder is light rose red dendritic. The copper powder produced by electrolysis has high purity and the particles are dendritic. After subsequent treatment, the dendritic shape is slightly rounded, has a good forming character, and has good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. It is widely used in the production of diamond tools, electric carbon products, friction materials, powder metallurgy products and conductive inks, and also used in electrical and electronic industries.
The atomized copper powder is light rose red irregular spherical shape, which commonly used in diamond tools, powder metallurgy parts, chemical catalysts, carbon brushes, friction materials, spray materials and welding electrodes.
We provide high density powders with customied size. If you did not find the size you need, please email us. Or you have any questions about powders, please contact us. We'll be very glad to provide helps.

Copper Metal powder

Copper powder is a ductile metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The powder is generally of a Reddish orange color which is used as a conductor of heat and electricity. Blue and green powdered copper are also available in the markets. This element can be manufactured in a number of methods, namely Atomization and Electrolysis. The electrolytic copper powder is light rose red dendritic, the atomized copper powder is light rose red irregular spherical shape.

Copper Alloy Powder

The copper alloy powder is mostly spherical or spheroidal in shape, and it has high fluidity and high bulk density. Mainly powdered copper is alloyed with zinc, nickel, tin and many other elements to make structural parts and friction material. Hence it is  widely used in powder metallurgy oil bearing, structural and electrical parts, injection moldings, diamond tools, filters, powder metallurgy products, bearing materials,  carbon brushes and in thick and thin films. It is also used as an alloying element in iron powder components to enhance its mechanical properties.

Copper coated graphite powder

Copper coated graphite powder is a kind of new material produced by our factory, its specific gravity is higher than graphite and lower than copper, it overcomes the disadvantages of the mechanical mixing powder in the old technology, such as difficult to mix evenly and easy to form segregation due to big density difference ( copper 8.8×103kg/m3, graphite 2.2×103kg/m3) and bad dispersibility of graphite powder. At the same time, carbon and copper interface can only be connected by mechanical interlock, the bonding strength between the interfaces is low, which causes unstable product quality. For graphite and copper of high temperature infiltration, even when the temperature is up to 1100℃ the wetting angle is 140°, it is very difficult for graphite to form evenly suspending distribution state in copper solution, and easy to have segregation.

The copper coated graphite powder produced by our company  is to make the graphite surface to be coated with one layer of continuous copper first, so the graphite distribute evenly between the copper. It is easy for copper to form three-dimensional grid structure, the interface bonding strength is high, which improves the product quality, it can be widely used as adding material in the production of motor brush, self-lubricating bearing, spray, liquid metallurgy material and so on.
